09:00–16:00 – Check-In & Equipment Inspection

Day 1 of the 2025 IOM North American Continental Regatta will be dedicated to essential pre-race formalities. From 09:00 to 16:00, skippers will complete check-in and undergo equipment inspection to ensure all boats comply with class specifications. Throughout the day, the racecourse will be open for unofficial practice, providing sailors the opportunity to familiarise themselves with the venue and conditions. This valuable time allows competitors to fine-tune their setups and test their strategies ahead of the official racing, which begins on Day 2.

Day2

Official Start of Championship Racing

Day 2 of the 2025 IOM North American Continental Regatta marks the official start of racing, beginning with the all-important skipper’s meeting at 09:30. Skippers will then take to the water from 10:00, with the first warning signal scheduled for 10:30.

The opening day of competition will see sailors engage in tactical, high-intensity racing as they begin their campaign for the title. With multiple heats expected, the day’s performance will be critical in setting the tone for the rest of the regatta. Precision boat handling, strategic awareness, and consistency will be key as every point earned could prove vital.

Racing will continue through the afternoon, with no heat to commence after 18:00 unless otherwise determined by the Organising Authority.

Day3

Championship Racing

Day 3 of the 2025 IOM North American Continental Regatta continues the championship racing as skippers return to the water to build on their standings. With the fleet now settled into the rhythm of competition, racing is expected to be even more tactical and hard-fought.

The day begins with open waters from 09:30, followed by the first warning signal at 10:00. Racing will run throughout the day, with no heat to start after 18:00 unless otherwise decided by the Organising Authority.

Every race counts as competitors work to climb the leaderboard, knowing that consistency and focus are key in the pursuit of the North American title.

Day4

Championship Racing

Day 4 of the 2025 IOM North American Continental Regatta marks the penultimate day of racing, with the championship standings beginning to take shape. Skippers will be pushing hard to solidify their positions or make a late charge up the leaderboard, knowing opportunities are running out.

The day begins with open waters at 09:30, followed by the first warning signal at 10:00. Racing will continue throughout the day, with no heat to start after 17:30 unless otherwise directed by the Organising Authority.

With the pressure building, consistency, composure, and sharp tactical decisions will be crucial as the fleet heads into the final stages of the championship.

Day5

Championship Racing

Day 5 marks the thrilling conclusion of the 2025 IOM North American Continental Regatta. Skippers will race with everything on the line, knowing every point is vital in the battle for the podium. Strategy, skill, and nerves will be tested in these decisive final heats.

Sailing starts with open waters at 09:30 and the first warning signal at 10:00. No race shall start after 17:00, unless otherwise directed by the Organising Authority.

After racing concludes, competitors and guests are invited to the awards presentation at 19:30, where the top sailors will be recognised for their performance, dedication, and sportsmanship. Join us as we honour the champions and bring the event to a fitting close in Corpus Christi.
